These are WordPress 5.4 RPMs for CentOS 6 with custom CentOS patches ported from WordPress 5.1 EPEL package.

Notes

Recent WordPress versions won’t work with PHP 5.3 which is the default on CentOS 6. So first you have to migrate your sites to PHP 7. The easiest way is to switch to nginx and use PHP 7 FastCGI Process Manager from the Software Collections (SCL) Repository.

If you are using WooCommerce with WordPress you’ve probably noticed that WooCommerce review text overlaps avatar in the Dashboard -> Activity -> Recent Comments section.

There’s an easy fix for the problem but it’s not portable and you’ll have to reapply the following patch after each WordPress upgrade.

To apply the patch on a Linux system run the following command in the WordPress root:

# patch -p0 <WordPress-5.4-dashboard.patch

The patch has been tested with WordPress-5.4 and WooCommerce-4.2.2.
